Thank you to everyone who have stayed with us so far, and who have yet to stay with us in the coming months! Sharing the home has been incredibly rewarding and humbling to me personally, and I’m very thankful for all the love and appreciation the home has received. That said, we’re happy to announce that we’ve opened our Airbnb calendar for bookings thru 2026!
By the way, we’ve found that May and October are our most popular months (we are booked completely solid for these months in 2025), so if you plan on visiting for the spring or fall, please plan ahead ;^) And if you’re looking to book in 2027 or beyond, note that we typically open bookings for the next year around September. So check back next year around this time.
Rates
Every year, we transparently adjust the nightly rate based on the annual estimated shelter index inflation rate. According to the U.S. Bureau of Labor Statistics, the shelter index rose by 3.7% over the 12 months ending July 2025. We’ve used this as guidance to set the standard nightly rate for 2026 at $395/night ($445/night for weekends).
After a year of faithful and reliable service, we have increased the pay for our housekeeper from $100/changeover to $120/changeover (plus holiday bonus). In our first year of renting, we passed on the full cleaning fee to our guests, but since then we have been incredibly impressed with how respectful our guests have been in keeping the house neat and tidy upon check out. So, we’ve committed to keeping the cleaning fee a flat $100, and we will personally cover anything over that amount each year until we reach an even 50-50 split. We would love to find more opportunities to cost share like this in the future!
